The data show a dynamic pattern in the population of Nepali inhabitants in Denmark from 2007 to 2023. Beginning with 408 Nepali inhabitants in 2007, the numbers have fluctuated significantly throughout the years, suggesting different trends in immigration and population growth. In subsequent years, the number of Nepali residents increased significantly, reaching 2157 in 2023. However, despite this overall growing trend, there were times of downturn, such as 2009, 2010, and 2018, when the Nepali population decreased. Such oscillations point to a complex interaction of factors impacting migration trends, including changes in immigration rules, economic situations in Denmark and Nepal, and individual movement and settlement decisions.
